We love a negroni at Appleton’s so much so Lyndsey has it tattooed on her forearm and we have 10 different variations of the Negroni alone on our bar menu. In 2019 we teamed up with the lovely folks at Tinkture to bring one of our dreams to reality and bottle our own cocktails for you to simply pour and enjoy at home. The first release were in rounded hip flask shaped bottles and wax sealed it was a limited run of 1700 bottles and we sold out quickly. In 2020, we rebranded and changed the packaging. The new run which still feature the same strikingly beautiful labels (designed by a tattoo artist friend of ours Matt Crandon) are in brown apothecary rectangular bottles with screw lids which makes them usefully reusable and refillable and more fridge friendly!

Anyhow less of the history, skip forward to the first lockdown 2020 and following some requests to extend the range we added 4 more cocktails, we added Casa Negroni which is our house Negroni, made with a good strong London dry gin, a nice rich vermouth and a traditional bitter from an artisan producer in Italy. Going away from our Negroni love we also added a Dirty Rose Martini (she’s made using Tinkture’s delicious Rose Gin and a light Italian vermouth) a Cherry Manhattan (bourbon lover or not this is a real crowd pleaser - made using a cherry liquore, a Kentucky bourbon whiskey and vermouth rosso) and everyones favourite (Andy’s especially!) An Espresso Martini (made using Origin coffee, a rich cold brew coffee liquore and a creamy vodka) - a delicious classic.

These new bottles feature rather risqué but beautiful labels with images designed for us by the super talented tattoo artist Rosie Evans. *It’s worth adding at this stage don’t judge her composition of the image on the label and the placement in relation to the rest of the bottle, Rosie produced the most magnificent beauties but because not everyone would be able to stock the bottles on their shelves, with boobs etc on the front of the bottles, we’ve put the naughty bits in a fun almost peep show way down the side of the bottle. As an aside, you can buy two bottles and position them next to one another to show the full picture how it was intended in all its naughty glory!

All of our ready to drink cocktails are exactly that - ready to drink - with minimal effort required. You can either serve over ice or shake over ice and pour depending on the cocktail itself, but don’t worry you don’t need to be a bar tender or have all the fancy equipment, they are simple and all have the instructions on the back and will be delicious regardless of the glass they are served in.
